    What is it that you want to do with a birdbath?

    I made one by turning a wrought iron plant stand upside down and putting in a shallow bowl. It's in a shade garden under a tree so the water doesn't get too warm in the summer heat.

    I am wondering if there is anything to keep birdbaths from turning moldy. I have tried a wire brush, even pressure washer, but that only keeps it clean for a few weeks, then the mold returns....
