Would call several windows replacement stores in the area and ask them to come give a FREE estimate and see what the replacement might be..then you might go to a salvage store because you will have the estimates with the exact sizes and check around to find someone who could install or help you install. Good luck!
Do it when windows are on sale for one thing...have them installed by someone who does that work...........If North or South facing, make sure they are tightly made.........and maybe have a sun blocker in them....to cut down on the heat.
Are you handy? Are they standard sizes? We have 27 windows in our home, and the quotes we were getting for replacement were outrageous. Thankfully, my husband is handy, he watched a few YouTube videos, and we have been buying windows a couple at a time and he installs them. We've gotten lucky with sales, and have paid between $80 and $150 for the windows, depending on the size. You can also see if there is a home store, or salvage store in your area. Many times they have nice windows for a fraction of the cost.
