Traction Kote 400
Traction Kote 400 is an epoxy-based formula that is available in spray cans or gallon drums. When using spray cans, simply spray the substance on the tiles. When using the gallon drums, use a roller designed for epoxy-based solutions. Once the formula has dried on the tiles, the floor should be non-slip. Traction Kote 400 is also suitable for outdoors, and it comes in a range of colors, including clear.
SlipDoctors Stone Grip
This substance meets the federal Americans with Disabilities Act and the Occupational Safety and Health Administrations guidelines for floor safety. After cleaning and drying the tiles, you can apply the treatment according to the directions, and then rinse it off. This formula is clear, and it won’t alter the appearance of your floor.
InvisaTread
Just like the products above, InvisaTread is another option that will make your glazed tiles less slippery. Although the product is not a “non-slip coating,” it helps make your surface feel less slippery, especially when wet. This product is invisible when dry, and it doesn’t leave a sticky feel.
sand added to paint works, as does a certain type of tread tape..it feels like a sand paper when you touch it. .
I have the same problem. Only thing I have found is a nice big bathroom floor rug. You will ruin your tile if you try to paint it.
THis is not an easy problem there are lots of product but in my research lots are acid based and I am assuming that this is an interior floor and if I wouldn't use that in my house so I won't recommend it to others
I did find a product called Non Slip 21 but it needs to be applied by a contractor. Here is the link in case that will work for you

Hope that one of these work for you, good luck!!
this is not a paint question. If you paint a wood floor, you can add silica, a very fine sand sold in paint stores....don't use sand. Mix with paint and stir before every dip
Liquid Sander - comes in a bottle at Home Depot. Just wipe it on the tiles and it will rough up the surface. It works!
I understand my niece moved into a rental and had to put runner rugs down because the dog couldn't walk on the tile floor. I feel your pain.
