How to hang heavier items in manufactured home

I have some display shelves I want to hang in my MH, but that darn Sheetrock just won’t hold anything, and the studs are too far apart. Those butterfly clamps for screws help, but not enough. Enough weight will pull those right through. Help!

There a bigger sheetrock mollies that screw into the wall. If that doesn't work, you are going to have to find at least one stud. That should take the bulk of the weight and help the others to not pull out.
If the item is extremely heavy, put up a piece of wood to hang it from that spans from stud to stud. Attach with screws.
Adding to what Xenia said, anything heavy should not be hung from drywall. It simply does not have the structural strength. You should always find studs to support the weight of anything much heavier than a framed picture.
To find the studs you can use the "tap" method listening for when the sound of tapping turns from a hollow to a solid sound or pick up an electronic stud sensor for around $10 on Amazon.
Try using an anchor first to screw your screw into. The anchor should hold the screw in place. That, or use a stud-finder to locate the studs & screw into those. Stud-finders are relatively cheap & found at most any hardware store or discount store like Wal-Mart. With anchors, you can place the shelving where you want, with using a stud as an anchor, you are pretty much resigned to where the studs are (typically 18" apart).
I’ve used anchors, and they failed. I considered the board from stud to stud. I figure it’s my only option. Just not quite the aesthetics I was looking for :)
