Soak the lawn every time you see the damage being done Or Soak it every evening.
make a solution one gallon of water with two tablespoons of baking soda mix and pour on the the spots
It's best to water it in, faster than later
Ethel do you take your dog out or does he just go out on his/her own?. Reason is maybe you can get you dog used to going in the same area. So its not killing grass all over.
Option. Construct an area with mulch or gravel for your dog. You can also address this issue by creating a bathroom area for your dog that is made of gravel, mulch, or artificial turf. This could be located on one side of your yard or in the area where your dog usually goes to the bathroom. Having your dog go on this area will save the rest of your lawn from damage due to urine.
The dog urine is burning the lawn, which leaves brown spots. The best way is to immediately rinse the area, it also might help to restrict the dog to go only in 1 location and then rinse with an adequate amount of water.
Thanks to everyone!! I rather THOUGHT I should water more or at least daily.
He does use the same area over and over. We are having a yard party and suddenly...I’m embarrassed!
i have not done the baking soda solution before and that’s worth a try too.
You guys are are all great!
