You are lucky that your house is attractive and already has curb appeal, with the large windows, symmetry, and classic architecture that is timeless. However, I think that changing the brown/red brick would give it a brighter, softer, more updated look. Think of it as a face lift for your home.
Paint out the brown brick, leaving the top siding white for now, and see how you like it. I think a light grey would be complimentary to both the black roof and shutters, and to the white trim.
I have use BM, Behr, and SW paints so know that, although they are higher priced, they have superior coverage and are more durable than cheaper brands. Always purchase the best quality paint that your budget can afford.
Keep in mind also that any brand paint can be tinted any colour as long as you have the swatch, name, and number when you ask to get it tinted.
To integrate the front lawn with the new grey brick on the house you might consider making a small feature with grey blocks, such as the picture below.
We recently did a refresh on our home. Hope this helps with a little inspirational ideas. Good luck! Hugs, Holly

Go for Window boxes on window shelf with bright colour flowers and Boxes or Pot of flowers on walls next to door. Or Just Bright colour Balls of flowers or Hanging Baskets under Canopy and to the outsides would do the trick.
I would paint the shutters and the front door a bright cheery yellow. yellow looks beautiful with brick. :)
