You will need a special drill bit. Any home store should have them. I love this project and may try it out myself!

I used a carbide tipped drill bit, but there are diamond tipped bits, as well. Which ever you use I would suggest either using a safe lubricant as the first time I tried it I managed to break a $40 carbide bit because it got too hot.
