What is the best spray to get rid of bugs eating red rasberries?

I have tried blue Dawn and water but that doesn't seem to keep them off, but I hate to put insecticide on them because they are hard to wash off and I like to eat them right off the bush. Thank you Barb

Try 1 tablespoon hot sauce, 3 drops dishwashingliquid in a quart of water. Works on everything that chews on plants. They hate the hot sauce.

Mix 2.5 tablespoons of liquid dishwashing soap (preferably Dawn or Lemon Joy) and not automatic dishwasher soap Mix with 2.5 tablespoons of vegetable oil per gallon of warm water. Make only what is needed for one day's treatment. An insecticidal soap like this is generally not harmful to plants, animals or humans.
