How hard and expensive is it to put a front porch on a colonial?
We just have a front stoop, I would love to have a front porch added to our colonial, where I could put a swing and some other furniture. I would like it to be about 10'x30' with a roof coming out from under the upstairs windows.

Your best bet to get a good idea of cost would be to contact a local contractor in your area. Costs vary across the country for materials and contractors and it's hard to give you a good answer. It will depend on how elaborate you want to go. A contractor can give you a few options to consider regarding price and materials.
