My kitchen cabinets are embarrassingly greasy. Please share your degreasing tips with me so I don't have to cringe every time I glance at my cabinets.
I take mine outside and hose it off. Then hang it up and let it dry.
After cleaning, as Laura suggested, wipe the bristles down a bit with dryer/softener wipes.
Mind you, if it’s a corn- broom, the bristles are not “slick” and meant to hold dust and lint. That’s why so many folks have moved on to microfiber dustmops with heads that can be thrown in the wash.
I stick mine in a pail with water and clorox.
try using a cat or dog brush to pull out the hair and lint before washing in a pail of soapy water, then rinse.
