I recommend that you search out local carpenters. Any of them should be able to make you a wooden top for your island. You can also go to HomeAdvisor.com to find a carpenter. We have used it two times and been happy with results both times. I hope this info helps you. Best of luck.

Ikea also sells reasonable priced butcher block countertops. I would check out that option too.
