Can you paint a tub and shower surround?
I have a pre-1960s bathtub, no clue what it’s made of, could be ceramic..cast iron?? that I cannot afford to remove or replace, but it is in terrible shape. I have tried every tub refinisher/cleaner/homemade cleaning solution to no avail. The stains will not come out. The same with the vinyl tub surround. No amount of scrubbing and cleaning gets the yellowish stains out. Is there a way to paint them both that will bring them back to looking clean? It’s so embarrassing that I refuse to have overnite guests because I don’t want them to see my shower! HELP!!
