Hi, I turned my sons old room into my craft room and it has a walk-in closet. We put shelves under one wall under the curtain rod, and I have baskets on there to hold extra supplies. One thing I did that really made the room; I painted the room a soft grey with grey wood work, I have a very small recliner in the corner with a small table and I put a floor lamp behind the chair, so cozy!! The room looks so nice and it doesn't feel so stark.
If you have any wall space you can put a fold up table. There are bins you can buy that hang on the walls in various sizes.
I bought IKEA algot shelving, they are adjustable shelves. I then bought plastic shoe boxes and used these to categorise my crafts. I categorised different areas for the crafts. The shoe boxes didn't take up much room. I put zips in one box, colour coordinated ribbons in other boxes. I did the same with the other crafts. IKEA do different combinations of shelving in this range. You could go for the laundry option that will allow you to hang some of your fabric or quilts.
I have a photo on my hometalk of my room if you would like to see. Sally
