What does vinegar do for kitchen cabinets

Vinager is a mild acid, it’s used to clean with. It usually takes the gunk off kitchen cabinets, I’ve used it in my dishwasher to keep the hard water spots from forming.

there is a stronger vinager called cleaning vinager...do not use that one on food you plan to eat. It will make you very sick.

Takes the shine off the finish.

Knowing vinegar is acidic, my preference is to avoid that —to use a soapy water Dawn solution for mild weekly cleaning and Murphy’s oil soap for more moderete cleaning jobs. Murphy's oil soap is an excellent all purpose wood cleaner.
