I saw an episode on a home gardening show that suggest going to a hair salon and asking for the clipped hair that’s been swept up, putting it in a container and urinating in it . Using rubber gloves, put the wet hair into some of the holes, even breaking into the tunnels and putting it under the soil. The moles will run away from the smell of humans. Of course your neighbors may not be that thrilled but the moles usually go very far away from the smell
mole traps; but they are not a trap/release model.
If you have a dog or a cat you can put dog poop or used cat litter in their run. They are blind and have a very keen sense of smell. To them they smell a predator and will likely abandon that run.
