What is the best vent-less exhaust fan we can install yourself
when we built our house for some reason we didn't include a exhaust fan over our stove now we realize just how important it is but money is tight so we will have to try and install ourselves

Amazing, how did the kitchen pass inspection? Where I live that would not be allowed just for fire and safety reasons and no home insurer would write a policy.

You can do this! Every manufacturer includes installation instructions and most have a You Tube video on line too. Just be safe when working with electricity. 🤗
We got one at Home Depot for under $50. Since we were having other electrical work done we had them hard wire the unit but it came with a corded plug - you just screw it into the bottom of the cabinet over the stove, plug it in and you're good to go! No requirements in OH for one but now I won't be without it
