This is hard to answer without seeing the objects and your space, but that credenza could become a "table" with a pretty lamp, a basket to drop your keys into and the place your purse behind the doors. Add a mirror and you have it done.
You can always paint it to suit your style. The bookcase is good for putting pretty bins on the shelves to hold magazines, telephone books; use it to display objects that you love or fill it with your favorite family photos...frames can be picked up cheap at the Goodwill or the Dollar Store.
So this is my entryway that I want to make over, space is limited and I’m overwhelmed:(
