I need ideas on a quick inexpensive reno for this bathroom

Well you already have some good bones in place here! The paneling on the walls might need a new color and you could change the backsplash tiles by the sink. I REALLY love penny tiles and I plan to incorporate them into my bathroom remodel. The vanity looks like it has already been painted so you could paint it again in another color or replace it. I could see you using that sink but mounting it in butcher block counter top that has been sealed for water--think marine varnish. Would you be able to install a small closet in the area where the fake door is--a narrower depth closet that you could put storage shelves in. You could leave it open or install a sliding barn door-though I am not sure if those switches on the wall are operational. That way you could eliminate the cabinet over the toilet and the one by the tub. Then you could make a ladder to lean against the wall for your towels. I would suggest changing your towels and shower curtain to accent a new paint color. I would also consider another floor--maybe vinyl planks.

GK has some awesome ideas. I would also paint the wood tub surround the same color as the walls. I love your wall color by the way. It would make the space appear larger if you don't break things up so much. I don't think you need to replace the vanity. Just update the drawer pulls to something in chrome to match your faucet. Another thing that makes a big change without much expense is to put a new fancier flush handle on the toilet. We did that once, and our son thought we got a new toilet. LOL

I agree with gk....you already have a nice looking bathroom. I think the idea of removing the fake door and making shallow shelving..or just enclosing the door area is a great idea. Inexpensive but major change is shower curtain,towels...and vinyl planking on the floor,if your current floor will allow without not too much work. Hubs put vinyl planking ,wood look in our bathroom,and he is NOT a handy man at all. Maybe a bolder color on the walls..or the cabinets. But start with shower curtain and towels..and remove the door. And area rug if flooring is not in the budget. I have seen people paint their vinyl flooring!! Let us know what you decide. We live vicariously through other hometalkers projects!🤪🤪🤪👏👏👏

An easy budget bathroom would mean paint. I would repaint the cabinet over the potty in a soft gray or even a dark gray and go with light gray on the walls. Gray is hard to paint with, Be sure to choose one with brown or blue undertones. Repose gray is a nice color. I would paint the vanity in the same color, Paint the frames around the mirrors the next darker shade or 2 darker of the color you choose. Also paint the tub enclosure and the little towel storage piece the same color you choose for the vanity. You could either replace the tile backsplash or paint the tiles with epoxy in a coordinating color. There are peel and stick tiles you could use.Cannot tell if your grout needs help but if it does, buy some grout refresh and change the color. I love your light fixture. I would take down the door and put shelving in its place for extra storage. Purchase a new shower curtain and coordinating towels. Oh forgot one thing, spray paint the vent the same color you paint your walls. Rustoleum makes a ton of colors. It will make it disappear.
