Maybe you could use a Antique Glass Cling as you can't get to the rear of the mirror..........
Hello again, I bought my Faux Leadlight Clings from "Clings of London" The should be found on the Web. The overall effect is of old glass, I used it on my windows..........Good luck..... If not ask a Cling supplier if they can supply an old Mercury glass film...........
