Assuming your table is wood - get some wood conditioner like Old English and rub out the spots. The spots are most likely caused from water.
A blow dryer works like a charm on fresh water spots
I have had good luck by using brown shoepolish...then rub, rub, rub.
If the table is wood, apply a little toothpaste (white paste not gel) to the spots in a thin coat. After about a minute or so, take a damp, not wet, cloth a lightly rub out. Do not rub hard, it can remove the table finish.
Place a dry cloth over the spot. Iron set on low and iron the cloth. Toothpaste and a damp cl;oth also works.
Hi Laurie, pour a small amount of olive oil in a bowl, and add about 2 tablespoons of table salt Wrap a small clean cloth around your finger and dip it in in the oil/salt solution and very lightly rub it in a circular motion over the white spots. Let it sit for a few minutes and then take a clean cloth and gently wipe it off. The white spots should disappear.
