Anyone know the best way to extract the full flavor from mint leaves?Tried boiling,as well as mortar and pestle,,,,help

I always hang it in bunches from the stems tied with twine and hung in a dark room until dry. Store in a glass jar.

many have resoted to using spearmint instead as it is more flavorful.

Joan, I always crumple the leaves to get the juices going for mint, basil etc
