My husband filled the cracks with something and now it looks worse. How do I fix these cracks in my concrete patio?

POWERWASH AND paint with concrete colored paint
Wow, you see, that is why you make your own pavers or blocks, rather than pour slabs. If a paver cracks, you pour a new one for 30 cents to a dollar and it looks like nothing ever hapoened. When a slab cracks, you got a $50 repair, that is quite simply, better invested in doing it right
If the cracks are small enough, you can use a solid concrete stain (works like paint). There are also products that go on thicker and add a texture similar to Deck Over. Otherwise, you can fill before staining. There are products that work like caulk and others work like spackle with a trowel or putty knife.
Maybe use the concrete paint to fake a flag-stone look so the crack looks like it should be there separating the "rocks"?
Paint it with concrete paint.
You can resurface the concrete. Sakrete or Quickcrete.
