Paint and more paint!! if it's tile in the bathrooms .. RUSTOLEUM makes a great Tub/Tile paint -- but prep work is critical -- if appliances in your kitchen -- there are 'appliance' paints -- from 'white' to 'stainless steel' ...

Good luck -- I'm not a guy, but I can't do pink either!! I feel your pain!

If you want an alternative to paint, you could try paneling or wallboard. There are really cool choices. I have seen them at Menards and Home Depot

Use a good coverage prime first . I don't know how dark the walls
are. I had to prime over a dark green in my bedroom . I used two
coats of primer and two coats of paint and it looked great. No more
    ugly green

Have a painting party with your friends... beer and burgers after a day of work~!
