How do I stabilize the addition on my house?
I have an addition on the back of the house. How do I stabilize that so it will hold an addition on top of it for the second floor with a full bath included?

This is a structural issue that requires the advice of a professional contractor. I would check your local listings for building contractors and get a few opinions before beginning any work.
You need a contractor! This is not a homeowner DIY. If the addition is not stable "as is" it is doubtful it will support a second story. Have a consult with a structural engineer and architect to determine what needs to be done to accomplish your goal!
Oh my! Definitely call the professionals. Safety First for you and your family. As Big Mike would tell us "do it right" and "make it right". Obtain several written estimates, verify credentials, licenses & insurance, check references, and never make a hasty emotional decision based on fear. Best of luck.
First order of business is to call a structural engineer. I have more faith in their care for my safety and dollars than I do of any contractor. Once burned.....
