Temporary white wash for brick?

I have a red brick wall behind wood stove in livingroom. Love the idea of doing a white eash — but not ready to commit. Is there a “white wash” I can apply but then wash off it I don’t like the look?

If you put paint on to brick it becomes permanent! You can only cover it again with another colour, no matter how thin the paint! Best wishes.............
This is one of those things where you have to jump into the deep end, just about anything that's applied to brick is there for good!

Tempra paint will wash off. It will be a wet mess, and you’ll need a partner with a wet/dry shop vac.
Yes! Saw this in my search....white chalk. Washes off easily with sponge and water.
