How does one remove stains from a "stainless" steel sink?
My husband and I just bought a home that was owned by an elderly woman and it's apparent that it was difficult for her to clean, so the "stainless" steel sink in the kitchen is terribly stained. Anyone out there with a trick of the trade to remedy this situation without having to use too much elbow grease?

Bar Keepers Friend or Bon Ami work great on Stainless Steel! It does require a little elbow grease though.
Maybe you could try the Dishwasher tab trick. Fill the sink with hot water and a dishwasher tab and let sit overnight. Partially drain and rub with scrubby sponge.
I hope that helps
