Hi Mil, Heavy duty double - sided carpet tape is what you need. Plain double-check sided tape won't adhere for long. Make sure the floor underneath is completely clear of any dust or fibers. Lift up the edges of your carpet and run a vacuum under to get loose fibers and dust. Cut the tape to fit and apply one side to the floor then remove the paper backing from the other side and press firmly. Weight the edge with heavy books for a day or two and it should hold.
Hi Mil,
You could use a non-slip rug mat or you could buy some silicone caulking and run it around the edges of the rug. Once the silicone dries it should hold the carpet in place. I hope that helps you!
Thanks My sweet Lady it sounds good l will tryand let you know the result.hold thumbs for me....Milly
