Weatherproof old jalousie windows ?
Any ideas how to seal old jalousie windows against cold and heat? They don't seal at all and barely close. Thank you!
You could put up plastic
Hello Dre26965148,
im not sure of the condition of your windows but here is an idea I found helpful when I lived in Florida. Most people had jealousies windows around me.

There weren’t any articles on Hometalk so if you find this helpful could you maybe post it on here?
Thank you, I'll check it out right now #
Most likely they need replacing. I don't think there is anything you can do to fix them.
If there is an inside screen put clear plastic or drop cloth. Otherwise thermal drapes. It would be tedious but self stick weather stripping on each glass pane would help give a better seal placed so rain doesn’t break the seal.
