How do I get rid of a ground cover?

I have a green leafed ground cover that flowers and is taking over my flower bed and choking a lot of my perennials. It has a root system that allows it to spread everywhere.

Spray with Round-Up. Round-up is absorbed by the leaves and gets to the roots to kill them. To keep it from getting on the plants that you want to keep, place a large piece of cardboard between the spray and the plant.

I would spray it with vinegar. The stronger the vinegar the faster it'll die. Just be sure not to spray your flowers as it will kill those too. This is what I do in my garden and flower beds, I hope it helps you too.

I have some weeds like that in my garden too. You can definitely dig them all up. I this to my vegetable garden ever year and I have had them still come back. Not sure why that happens. I feel your pain.
