How can you paint inside plastic bottles for a bottle tree?

I need ideas for a southern bottle tree using plastic soda bottles of etc.?? Thanks. Barbara

Pour paint in the bottle, screw on the top and roll the bottle gently until the inside is coated. Pour excess paint out. Dry upside down so any excess paint drips out, then turn right side up to finish drying.
