What I do is squeeze some Dawn dish liquid in the toilet. Pour about 1/3 box of baking soda in the toilet. Then just pour in vinegar and it foam up. Swish around with a toilet brush to foam it up. Let it sit for an hour or two. Then just scrub a little with the toilet brush. The suds suspend the vinegar above the water line.
I pour 2 cups in each week to remove the minerals and make it easier to use the bowl brush. Use white vinegar for cleaning. I also use Simple Green then to deodorize and disinfect it. It is non-toxic and I use it for all my cleaning.
Thanks I will try that

To create an all-purpose cleaner for windows, counters, and kitchen fixtures: Combine 1/4 cup cleaning vinegar and 2 1/2 cups water in a spray bottle. Add 1/2 teaspoon dishwashing liquid. Shake well to mix and label the bottle. To use, lightly spray the soiled surfaces and wipe away grime with a lint-free cloth.
