Hi, Cat - missing your question. Is the roof sagging?
A support post
Cat Hello, You need a professional to do this job, a carpenter would be able to do this. You can go cheap, but this deck is a part of your home. Go online to HomeAdvisor, and see whose in your area. You get to choose 3-4 reputable people, that will give you an estimate for the work. Don't chance it, it needs to be supported. You should get a contract, what materials will be used, how many consecutive days it will be done, and of course the price.
Windscreen needs very little support.
