How do I clean brick and caulk ?
Wee can see where old green paint from the house trim got on the brick and grout on the exterior of our house. Any tips for cleaning? Specially, products YOU have used and KNOW work?

BRICK: Start with a wire brush. If that doesn't get it off, add a chemical such as paint thinner.
CAULK: Your best bet would be to caulk over or remove and re-caulk. Most solvents that would remove the paint will damage or remove the caulk.

I have good luck using Krud Kutter to remove acrylic paint from the brick, doors, and trim but don't remember if any was specifically on the grout. I used a denture brush in the small areas.
I used sand paper. Cheap and easy!
Pressure Wash then recaulk with good outdoor caulking around all the surface. My bricks were actually a different color and it even removed the vine residue that was left on my hse when I removed the ivy
I am 70 years old and on social security so with that said I have a place in my front yard approximately 3'x6' that need a makeover. It get a great deal of sun there. I need something I can care for as well as inexpensive.
