How to shine counter tops?

I would personally use vinegar to cut whatever had taken away the shine. Maybe vinegar and a path scrubby. Rinse it real well then put a coat of countertop wax. I like Counter Magic.

I used to buy a laminate countertop spray on shine product at the hardware store.

Try cleaning your counters with vodka or isopropyl alcohol mixed with water and a few drops of dish soap. It helps with shine and is gentle on the finish. I use 1/2 cup vodka (cheap kind), 2 cups water, and 5 drops of dish soap.
