Maybe a roof snow shovel!?
Hire it out but be careful, it may damage your roof if it's been there awhile. My friend had his all cleaned off then had to replace roof because it caused leaks.
Hello Col.....my days on ladders are over! If you don't want to call a professional, it looks like you'll need some help....meaning this probably isn't a DIY job. Best of luck finding someone. Offer chocolate chip cookies!
Use a power washer if you can. If not, hire a handyman for half a day and keep him/her busy. Or hire a strong teenager. Join Neighbors, com for your neighborhood if possible. ☺️
I would caution you about 'hiring' someone who is not experienced doing these kinds of jobs, or someone who is not an insured employee of a proper business. Hire one recognized by the BBB, one who has paid their business license fees, and their workman's compensation board insurance premiums.
If someone were to slip and injure themselves while on your roof, there is the possibility of them suing you for negligence in not providing proper safety measures. An insured employee should be covered by their employer's company insurance plan.
Although the likelihood of this happening is probably not high, as this job will involve going up on ladders/the roof, check with your home insurance carrier to see how your policy may or not cover you in the case of anyone sustaining injuries while on your property.
I would hire a professional, make sure they do this service for a living and not just a handyman.
Check on Angie, maybe try local papers and see if they list their business with their license info showing on their add.
