Purchase a package of assorted small gourds and a few mini pumpkins. Also purchase artificial fall colored leaves. (Dollar store is great place to get a small package of these leaves or a few stems. If on stems, remove leaves and discard stems.).
Place several leaves in center of table. Arrange small gourds on top of leaves.
Next place your pumpkins in the arrangement. Last, take some more leaves and place them around your centerpiece. You might want to pick up a gourd or pumpkin and place part of leaf under it. Repeat until you are happy with your arrangement. They should keep for 6 weeks depending on your climate. If mild develops on pumpkin or squash, throw away immediately before it spreads and either purchase replacement or rearrange until you are happy with your arrangement. Happy Fall Table decorating. (You can use apples, oranges, cinnamon sticks, etc.. possibilities are limitless.)
I like small pumpkins, fake fall leaves, placemats, and napkins to set the fall tone. Dollar tree has some really cute items.
This is for outside, but hopefully will give you a little inspiration. Hugs, Holly
