What is the best way to remove old wall paper?
I have a paper tiger to put holes in it. Some say wallpaper remover spray is the best way. Others say spray with boiling water. What is the easiest, least messy when it does not just pull off?

You can use a 50/50 mix of warm water and cheap fabric softener to wet down the wallpaper after you have scored it with your tiger. Use a big sponge rather than a spray bottle so you don't have spray drifting all over. You could also try a steamer. It is a messy job--there's no getting around that.
We had wall paper in our sun room and we removed it with chomp wall stripper and we found that worked the best along with warm water and soap to get rid of the residue.

Depending on the amount of time the wallpaper has been up there really isn't an easy way to remove. I've used the paper tiger, warm water & the spray. I found the paper tiger along with the spray worked best.
