How do we make this table sturdier??

We built this table out of scrap cedar with just a circular saw and a drill and no idea of how to do angles. We were pleased to have done it, however,it is not sturdy at the legs. What can we add to make it sturdy please? We have no brackets underneath and we don’t want a bar of wood going across the legs that will prevent a chair from being pushed in.
You can possibly sturdy it up by adding more or longer screws where the tabletop and legs are joined together....perhaps at an angle. It looks great! Good job!
How about brackets attached to the tabletop and the top of the inner legs, 2 per corner? That should do the trick!

You could possibly use L brackets to attach the legs to the top. ( You could find them at Home Depot, Lowes or online.) I would use larger size brackets in a brass/gold finish so it would be part of the design. You may have to use two brackets to each leg to make it sturdy enough. Or you could gets someone to cut eight pieces of wood with the proper angles to brace the corners. Good luck.

Or add angled pieces of wood at the top of the legs.
