How to keep trimmer powered?
My trimmer starts and runs well. Then when I try to cut weeds it loses power and the string bogs down. Solution please?

Is this a battery trimmer or gas? If it’s a battery trimmer it may not have enough power to do the tough high grass and weeds. Try to cut in layer if the weeds are high, use sweeping motion see if that helps. Make sure your starting with a fully charged battery. If the string is too heavy it may get tangled and ware down the battery faster. Try a lighter string. You may have to get a more powerful trimmer. If it new and it’s not working go back to your dealer and question its power.
It all depends on what kind you have. Battery: The battery may be getting weak and needs to be replaced. Gas: Not enough power to cut anything that may too long or too coarse.
Two cycle gas
