Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with my thyme plant?
My thyme started getting these brown/Black dots all over all the leaves. The whole plant is affected. Can it be saved? Is it safe to eat?
Hi Symea, I'm not sure what the plant is, but it really looks like my large Ti plant. Maybe it needs repotted in a larger pot, might need some fertilizer in the old soil, etc. I repotted mine in fresh, new soil {Miracle Grow soil} and it perked right up.
This is a Yukka plant Symea..

hope it helps.
Common yucca plant. No need to wax top. Just cut off with a sterilized ( clean blade with rubbing alcohol) serrated knife or yard pruning saw. Depends on how rotten it is. Just be sure bladevis clean or you transfer bacteria into the cut! Cut then let it dry out. Water about once a month. If in sunny & warm area it can be set outside, but can’t tolerate cold @ all! Or direct sun if it has been grown inside. They don’t need a lot of water, probably why it rotted off. Can’t tell by pic, was it a separate stalk or a shoot off big stalk? If separate & is completely rotten to the soil, just let it die or slowly & carefully remove the whole thing. Don’t repot into a huge pot. Likes to be rootbound. But If it gets top heavy, stake or go about 2-3” bigger pot. Hope this helps. Super easy plant to grow. Just less water is better. They retain water in the trunk. Fertilize about month during growing season Mar- Oct.
