Is it too late to seed?
Have a POD on my front lawn because of basement flooding issues so have not been able to seed and feed the front lawn. How late can you send and feed the lawn in Northern NJ? Is Late Oct/Nov too late?

Oct is fine for seeding & feeding
If the area is bare now, see if you can get sod from a local grower or if any of your local garden/nurseries have any in stock and lay ASAP, no later than the middle of October and hope you don't get an early hard freeze. Frosts are okay, sod will withstand those, but seed won't sprout. Water sod daily for 10 days. Check specific growing directions for your area to see how much water to apply. If you have a large area that you don't want to sod because of the cost, wait until all danger of hard freeze is past next spring.
