Hi Fatima,
What is the tub made of?

What is the surface? If scratch resistant, try Bartender's Friend. The powder, not the spray.
Baking soda and vinegar
i have found that "KABOOM" No Drip Foam Mold & Mildew Stain Remover with Bleach works well. (I buy it at Walmart). If really bad it may take more than 1 try. I let it sit awhile before scrubbing off. A piece of stiff nylon net also helps.
The best thing I have found is Lysol Power Bathroom Cleaner. Make sure you get the trigger spray bottle with a blue label. Invest in a hurricane spin scrubber for additional muscle. Spray and scrub before it begins to dry.
Once it's clean, use wet & forget shower weekly to prevent build up. It's a no scrub cleaner but by the sound of your issue it would take a very long time for it to work.
