Candle wax on khaki pants, how to remove?
My son just got candle wax all over his new kaki pants. I was able to pick off but it looks like the wax is getting embedded into the fibers. I am worried ironing it will make it worse. Should I put them in the freezer? AHH....13 year old is a mess. ha

You can try running a ice cube over the wax and picking it off. Or you can put a paper towel over the wax and iron with a warm iron--the wax will absorb into the paper towel. You may not get all of it out and you may end up with a wet looking stain. Kids....
Yes, put them in the freezer. The hardened wax will scrape off easier and not smear. Then put paper towels on both sides of the fabric and iron with a dry iron (no steam). You'll have to keep changing the paper towels as the wax transfer to them. Once the wax is out, pre-treat the pants and wash in the hottest water allowed. Don't put them in the dryer until you're sure the stain is out. Good luck!
Yes put in freezer then you can āpopā the wax off. Wash in cold.
K. Hello,. įŗtart with a boiling pot of water. Remove to a different burner. Take the part of the pants with wax, and put it over the pot, the wax should become soft, so you can pull it off. Aloha!
use the method some folks use ...put paper towels or brown paper bags both sides of the fabric and iron on low temperatures. If the fabric abosorbed the wax this method should get rid of most of the wax
Put paper bag under and over the wax and touch with a warm iron(low)heat
for several minutes . The wax will be absorbed by the paper. It worked for me
