If you are considering doing this, go to a home building store and price out the cost of purchasing new Corian countertops with the particular edge finish that you have now. Perhaps the shock you will likely get will discourage you from wanting to paint them.

I'd actually like to know this too, I hate the ones that came with my house.

YES YES!! I just answered this for someone else. We did and I love them now. I had pink countertops and I spray painted them black and then used a stone spray on top of that. It gives the granite look. Then we used ENVIROTEX resin. This is the product that they use on bar tops. It is fine around food. We mixed it and poured it on. Then we used a blow torch to get the bubbles out. The sides and edges were a bit of a mess because the resin runs down off the edges so you will want to cover the edges with something like contact paper or something. And cover your lower cabinets with plastic. We did that 8 years ago and they still look good. People ask me if it's granite. hehe. I think it took 5-6 boxes of envirotex to do everything. I have heard people using poly to seal it in a kitchen....but I would worry about that with food. We did this before I had a website so I'm sorry I don't have a tutorial for you. Google envirotex and tutorials. It's great stuff! Good Luck!
