Stack dryer on top of washer....saves a lot of space. I was able to do that to my bathroom and still have room for walk in shower and long counter space etc
Put shelving above your washer and dryer to hold all your soaps and other laundry supplies. If you have the room, put in a small table to use to fold your laundry, and put shelves above that for your other cleaning supplies, rags, etc. If there is room between the washer and dryer and the table, hang a rod to hang up the hang dry clothes and the clothes you normally hang in a closet when they are clean, right out of the dryer. Put a rug in front of the washer and dryer, the runner type to help spruce it up to go with the paint, flooring, etc. you choose to fix up the laundry room with.
