Where to find glass gems that are actual red glass and not coated? ?
I am having the hardest time finding actual red all the way through...glass gems, one flat sided. So many I have looked at are coated with a paint Of some sort. I have checked hobby, mikes, and Joanne. Online. Even amazon, how can this be so difficult? I can get other colors that are solid color all the way through...frustrating! 😠 these below look more orange, but I just put it up as a visual. I don’t know if they are coated or solid color. Advert didn’t say.

Go to a stained glass store. Can probably find the red gems online but you won't know what you are getting. Red are very hard to find. I have had a hard time finding them as well. But because I do stained glass, I know where to get the real stuff. Look in your yellow pages for a stained glass store near you. They will have all different sorts of glass jewels and they won't be painted. Hope this helps:)
I found quite a variety of different reds, some solid, some semi-transparent, on ebay.
