Be careful but use a tile saw and a BD-305 Agate Cutter diamond blade look it up on line. You also might be able to use a lapidary blade.
A lapidary slab saw works best. It is a big investment I reccomend a diamond saw blade which is a another big investment
Tile saw with diamond blade the biggest thig is go slow and keep it wet ie tile saw start small seeif you like it ,it is alot of work but very rewarding
Go to www.diamondpacific.com for diamond blades , they will work in most tile saws.
Yup, a wet tile saw👌
You will need a diamond dust blade. You can find saw under lapidary supplies.
Do an internet search for local Rock and Gem Clubs. They will have the correct type of saw and can even advise you regarding polishing.
You will need a lapidary saw. They are expensive for sure. Check with you local rock clubs, you may find one that has a workshop to join or someone to cut it for you. Or a rock shop will cut it for a fee. ROCK ON ROCKHOUND
Try this web site www.drillglass.com. This man can answer all your questions. He is very nice and I'm sure he can help you.
That's not a job for amateurs. I'd suggest you find a lapidary shop and see if they'll do it for you. It would be cheaper.
It needs to be a wet saw otherwise the agate will get hot and fracture
Then you lapidary wheels to polish the stone or you will have scratches on the stone
Anytime I have a question like this, I hit my local Home Depot and ask them. Hope this helps!
