Hi Toni, you can use mod podge to stiffen crepe paper
Thank You so Much!
Spray starch works for stiffening paper too :)
Maybe try painting them with Modge Podge?
Hi Toni,
I was going to say Mod Podge? or maybe even Hairspray? but please spray on top of a wipeable surface because of colour runs?? Craft Shops sell a Spray sealer or maybe try a Waterproofer from Good Supermarkets. If you go to a store tell them what you want to do and they will help you find items that may help! Sorry I can't be more certain, but I have never thought to do this myself as yet!
Hello. A spray aerosol varnish might be recommended. They come in various sheens choices such as matte gloss and satin.
Spray hairspray, varnish. mod podge?
I would recommend using Mod Podge Ultra - https://amzn.to/32Go7Kd
Toni....You could probably use floral wire, cut and hot glue on the back then bend as needed. Good lucko
You're going to want to use something that dries quickly, since the color may run from crepe paper. Spray starch may work, also.
School glue rushed o gently will stiffen the crepe paper without causing harm to the paper. Perhaps coat one side then the other....very gently. The glue will dry clear.
I would try spray starch!
I agree, a few thin layers of mod podge will do the trick!
I would use decoupage.
Depending on your use try ironing to the front of freezer paper but ironing on the back of the freezer paper not the crepe paper it should be easy to remove.
Simply get a paint brush or foam brush and brush a coat of starch on your paper. After it has dried, flip it over and repeat the process. If you are using spray starch, just spray your paper, flip it over and repeat.
