Your farm supply store should carry heated water dishes, or immersable heaters for livestock use. Check there or Google them to see the different styles and sizes.
I lived on a hard scrabble farm as a child. We couldn't afford alot. In the winter we put a metal rod in the water dishes and troughs. This keeps the water from freezing solid. In the mornings we used the rod to break up the ice so the geese chickens and other animals could drink.
I used an aquarium heater in my bowl and the water did not freeze. Gonna do it again this year too!
You can also buy a solar heater to put in the water and the sun will keep it from freezing
