How do I get pet poop stains out of carpet ?
Family dog of 18 years passed away last week. He couldn't get up and pooped (bloody) on carpet. Cleaned as much as I could with hot water, but still a few stains. Any advice? Thanks in advance. Amy

Try some white vinegar and baking soda. . Maybe test in a hidden area first. .I have used mean green from dollar store .sorry about your dog. .
Sorry for your loss. It's hard to lose a beloved pet. I have had good luck with a combo of Oxi Clean (make a paste, gently rub in to carpet fibers, leave there until dried) and then vacuum dried Oxi and rinse with water. Best of luck.
So sorry for your loss. Sending hugs and condolences. Tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of when I had to put down one of my dogs.
By using hot water you set the stain and have now made yourself a bit more work. Never ever hot water, always cold. Here are some remedies to try.

Typically I use vinegar and baking soda.
Sorry for the loss of your fur baby. I have discovered a product called Norwex. Norwex carries a laundry detergent powder that I mix with water and spray on carpet stains. The powder is an organic enzyme and will clean that spot. You may need to google Norwex to find a representative in your area
